Bridges

Cresta Composites are proud to announce a new range of composite bridge structures for foot traffic or light vehicles.

Cresta have used modern design methods and composite materials to create a structure that is both strong and light. The structural supports of a fibreglass bridge are typically 50% of the weight of a wood or steel equivalent. Treads and handrails can be of wood or composite material.

The lightweight and easy assembly of the Cresta bridges make them highly suitable for applications where access is difficult. Each bridge can usually be fully assembled and flown in by helicopter, craned into position or kitset carried in and assembled on site.

The natural corrosion resistance of fibreglass means that your investment is protected for the years to come, with no costly maintenance program to worry about. Steel and aluminium bridges will sometimes need re-coating 5 times or more during their life.

The natural colour of the bridge structure can be altered to suit your needs, and made to either blend in or stand out from the environment.
